It's still "early days" for a Metro multiplayer experience, and it's possible that the campaign and multiplayer could release separately. The developer goes on to say that the team has started working on a new entry into the Metro series for next-gen consoles and PC, and it's exploring bringing multiplayer to the Metro universe for the first time. 4A Games hasn't given an exact release date for the Xbox Series X|S optimised version of Metro Exodus but says it will be sharing more soon. We can "expect major enhancements including faster frame rate, increased resolution, reduced loading times, and stunning Ray Tracing features made possible by the new hardware." Best of all, the Xbox Series X|S version will be free to all players who own an Xbox One copy (digital or physical) of the game. I also tried deleting the user.cfg multiple times.A blog post over on the 4A Games website says the developer is hard at work on bringing the post-apocalyptic first-person shooter to Xbox Series X|S. I not had any trouble on any other game regarding this. Windowed mode I don't really enjoy using for games like this. 1366X768 METRO EXODUS PCYou can also upload and share your favorite Metro Exodus desktop PC wallpapers. It looks like this is also happening with Last Light.ĭoes anyone know any solutions to this besides attempting what I already tried with the user.cfg and read only? That seems to be the only thing I could find online. Tons of awesome Metro Exodus desktop PC wallpapers to download for free. I made sure I only had one version installed so it wouldnt get confused there. I also like to add I tried using both the GOG and Steam versions of this, I don't remember having this problem in the past and certainly didn't on the original Metro 2033. With read only on it doesnt change what the file says but it ignores what the resolution is set to. Without read-only the one in C:\Users\-username-\AppData\Local\4A Games\Metro 2033 gets changed by the game to what the game's resolution is at. Tried with every single user.cfg (they all now say the same thing). So basically, I can't change the game resolution to 1920 x 1080 on fullscreen. Something to note, the ingame settings still show 1680 x 1050 despite the windowed one being in 1920 x 1080. Doesn't look like theres a borderless option. However that means I get the taskbar appearing at the bottom along with the desktop if I change the resolution. I have found one fix for this so far, if I change fullscreen to off in user.cfg so its windowed, this works. I made sure to double check that the user.cfg files were read-only. However whenever I launch the game it still doesnt go to this resolution (I have confirmed using some recording software). I have gone in the user and changed the resolution so it looks like the below. I tried googling around and found some things to try such as editing the user.cfg, I understand there are multiple ones. Ingame the max the resolution will go to is 1680 x 1050. However I've started having an issue with the resolution not going to my native resolution of 1920 x 1080. I recently wanted to go back to Metro as I love this series nearly as much as the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
